Even though we are almost always on opposite sides of the subject matter on this blog, I do appreciate your comments. I don't claim to get things right 100% of the time (though I don't recall ever writing that John Doolittle would ever be indicted).
But your predictions don't always come true, either.
You claimed that Mr. Doolittle wouldn't "announce that he got away on a technicality". That is essentially what happened here. I'm convinced some sort of SoL prohibition occurred. See here for reasoning.
You've been saying the game is over for a long time. Since the first time you've said that, we've had another indictment and guilty plea (Horace Cooper).
That said, it is obvious to me that you're plugged in to this matter. I think we could learn a lot from each other. I'd like to invite you again to email me and take this conversation off-blog ... gregintx22@yahoo.com
Given that the DoJ seems to have closed the case on John Doolittle, I suspect that his aides including David Lopez won't face criminal liability either.
The only silver lining is that we haven't heard anything from Tom DeLay. As we've seen, when a former Congressman learns that investigations have been dropped, the story appears in the press. No such story from Mr. DeLay suggests to me that he has not heard that the investigation into him has ended.

What is the status of the other unindicted coconspirators...specifically Doolittle's former chief of staff, David Lopez?
...told u so... what is the anthem for it's over?
